Bahena-Benitez is a Queer Mexican Indigenous performance artist. Their solo show JOTA is a performance piece that came to fruition from Katherine's personal lived experiences as a queer person being raised in the Catholic church. As a result. JOTA carries not onlv truth. but the seeds of liberation.
