About the event
Now in its 9th year, the Summer One-Act Festival was created to provide aspiring actors, directors, and designers with the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop their craft completely free. It remains one of Teatro Espejo's most meaningful traditions, creating space for the next generation of teatristas to share their talents with our community.
Each performance features both plays, and admission is FREE with a food donation benefiting our community partners, because great theatre is even better when it brings our community together.
A NOTE ABOUT THIS YEAR'S DIRECTORS
This year's festival is led by two talented teatristas whose stories are deeply connected to Teatro Espejo.
Antonio "Tito" Juarez, who joined Espejo in 1985, has directed, acted, and appeared in several films. A longtime member of our artistic family, Tito brings decades of experience and passion to this year's festival.
